For current TFT projects, we have performed several drop tests with front glasses, including IK10 tests with a 5kg ball from a height of 40 cm.
Below are two videos, one with a 6mm glass, the other with an 8mm glass. However, the thickness of the glass only says something about the impact resistance to a limited extent, since thinner glasses can also pass the test, e.g. in combination with a laminated touch. The size of the glass also influences the result. The bigger the glass, the more bouncy it is, which has a positive impact on the result.
