As a supplier to well-known medical and laboratory technology companies, we are proud that our products are helping to combat the current Covid19 pandemic. Among others, LCD microelectronics displays can be found in COVID19 rapid testers, intensive care pumps and pipettes.
Displays with capacitive touch and front glass are particularly suitable for medical applications because of the good cleaning possibilities. The touch can also be operated with gloves, and faulty triggering, e.g. through contact with liquids, can be prevented by the software. At the same time, the shape of the front glass can be freely selected and it can be individually printed, e.g. with the company logo.
As LCDs are produced almost exclusively in Asia, there were minor supply bottlenecks at the beginning of the year, but these have now been completely eliminated. The only obstacle at the moment is the low transport capacity in the air freight sector. Here we advise all customers to order early so that we can choose alternative transport routes (sea/rail freight) and avoid high freight surcharges.
