In 2022, Mitsubishi Electric decided to completely discontinue its business with small and medium-sized industrial TFT-LCDs. The reasons for this were a declining market and increasing price pressure, particularly from Asian competitors. As a result, many tried-and-tested displays were discontinued - in some cases without any direct alternatives.
LCD Mikroelektronik supports customers in replacing discontinued Mitsubishi TFTs. We have already successfully implemented numerous projects and are very familiar with the requirements of these displays - e.g. high brightness, robust interfaces or special temperature ranges. We also offer suitable alternatives for individual requirements such as touch integration or mechanical compatibility. The aim is a smooth replacement without time-consuming system adjustments.
